Indian's head coach Gautam Gambhir to rejoin team today

Indian cricket team’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, will rejoin the team in Australia today. 

Previously, Gambhir had returned to India after the first Test due to personal commitments.

In the first Test, played at Optus Stadium in Perth, India defeated Australia by a commanding 295 runs. Batting first, India was bowled out for just 150 runs. However, Indian bowlers dominated, dismissing Australia for a mere 104 runs with Jasprit Bumrah taking fifer. In the second innings, India posted a strong total of 487/6 before declaring their innings. Australia, chasing a target of 534, was bowled out for 238, handing India a comprehensive victory. Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, taking 8 wickets for 72 runs in the match.

The second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between Australia and India will begin on December 6 in Adelaide. India currently leads the five-match series 1-0.
