The Ireland men’s cricket team is set to embark on their first-ever tour of Pakistan in August and September of 2025.

As part of the Future Tours Programme 2023-27, Ireland will play three one-day internationals (ODIs) and an equal number of Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against the Men in Green.

The confirmation of this tour came after a meeting held in Dublin between Mohsin Naqvi, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and Brian MacNeice, the Chairman of Cricket Ireland on Sunday.

During the meeting, MacNeice warmly welcomed Naqvi and presented him with an Ireland cricket team jersey as a token of appreciation.

Furthermore, discussions took place regarding women's cricket series, with both parties expressing mutual interest in organizing series between women's teams.

The meeting in Dublin was also attended by Warren Deutrom, the Chief Executive Officer of Cricket Ireland, along with other key officials from Cricket Ireland.
