Ireland U19 women defeat Pakistan U19 women in ICC U19 T20 World Cup

Ireland U19 secured a 13-run victory over Pakistan U19 in the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup, using the DLS method, and advanced to the Super 6 stage, knocking Pakistan out of the tournament.

The rain-affected match was reduced to 9 overs per side. Batting first, Ireland U19 posted 69 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted overs, with Pakistan’s Memoona Khalid impressing by claiming two wickets.

Chasing a revised target of 73 runs, Pakistan U19 fell short, managing 59 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

This win not only secured Ireland's spot in the Super 6 but also ended Pakistan's campaign in the tournament.
