Pakistan cricket team is set to get a new manager along with foreign coaching staff in the upcoming home series against New Zealand.

According to sources, there is a strong possibility of young Rehan-ul-Haq making his debut as a Manager with the Pakistani team in place of the experienced Mansoor Rana.

Rehan is associated with Pakistan Super League franchise, Islamabad United, as General Manager.

Rehan is being considered the most suitable for the post on the wishes of Mickey Arthur, the prospective team director and consultant of the national team.

Hassan Cheema, who, along with Rehan, has been involved in curating player data for Islamabad United and assisting in team strategy, can be hired as the 'Manager Analytics' for the national team.

PCB advertised for the post of 'Team Manager' and 'Manager Analytics' separately last week. The deadline for submission of applications for these posts has been set till 6th April at 5 pm. According to reports, PCB officials have already made up their minds to appoint Rehan ul Haq and Hasan Cheema to these posts.

Along with team manager and manager analytics, the posts of 'League Commissioner', 'Director HR' and 'Administration and Head of ticketing and hospitality' have also been advertised.

Naila Bhatti, who is already associated with PCB, is also expected to be appointed as 'League Commissioner', Khayyam Qaiser as 'Director HR' and Mehwish Umar as 'Head of ticketing and hospitality'.

After the completion of the necessary formalities, the notification of the appointments of these five posts will be issued.
