Former Pakistan head coach, Jason Gillespie, has made serious allegations against the current head coach of the team, Aaqib Javed.
Gillespie took to social media to accuse Aaqib Javed of deliberately damaging the reputations of both Gary Kirsten and himself.
He wrote, "This is hilarious. Aaqib was clearly undermining Gary and I behind the scenes campaigning to be the coach in all formats. He is a clown 🤡."
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had appointed former South African batter Gary Kirsten as the head coach of the white-ball team and former Australian bowler Jason Gillespie as the head coach of the red-ball team.
Gillespie resigned from his position as head coach in December of last year. This was two months after Gary Kirsten stepped down from his role as the head coach of the white-ball team in October 2024.
