Jason Gillespie, Pakistan’s red-ball coach, has announced the details of his arrival and activities in Pakistan, where he will be observing domestic cricket.

The former Australian cricketer revealed his plans to spend considerable time in the country, focusing on players within the domestic setup.

"I'll be spending a bit of time in Pakistan and observing players in a domestic environment," Gillespie told a local media outlet.

He also mentioned the upcoming camp for test format players, which will include fitness training and skill development in preparation for the two test matches against Bangladesh.

“I'm looking forward to getting over to Pakistan. We're hoping to have a camp coming up that will incorporate some fitness work, and then some build into our skills, which leads into the two Tests against Bangladesh.

"So, putting together what that camp looks like, what the timeframe is, and then we'll go from there, but we're very excited. And I'm looking forward to getting over to Pakistan and meeting everyone at the PCB and meeting all the players,” he added.

Furthermore, Gillespie highlighted the importance of managing players’ workloads to prevent burnout. Appointed as Pakistan's head coach for the red-ball team, alongside Gary Kirsten, who is in charge of the white-ball team, Gillespie stated that he has been and will continue to collaborate with Kirsten on managing the players' workload.
