Gladiators will be hoping for Jason Roy to be in his best form to pull them out of the mud
English superstar Jason Roy has joined the Quetta Gladiators squad ahead of their crucial match against Lahore Qalandars as they fight to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
The Gladiators are currently fifth in the rankings as they have lost three out of their four matches. Their only win came against a winless Karachi Kings in the PSL 7.
The news of Jason Roy's arrival was announced by the franchise through their social media where they also attached pictures of the English batter having his first training session as well.

Jason Roy's arrival will help Quetta to change their plans as he will provide a different dimension to an otherwise ordinary Gladiator side. The Englishman has returned from international duty as he was part of England's T20 International squad who were up against the West Indians.
In the five-match T20I series, Jason Roy produced a fluctuating performance; he scored 6 in the first T20I and followed that up with a 45-run knock which included six boundaries and two maximums. Third T20I saw Jason Roy's wicket fall for 19 runs as England were chasing a target of 225 runs by the West Indies. Roy then struck a 42-ball half-century in the fourth while ending the series with a two-boundary hit cameo.
For a spectators' point of view, one can only hope Jason Roy regains his best form to support a struggling Sarfaraz-led team.
