Reports recently emerged claiming that Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who led the team in the final Test against Australia, had gone on bed rest due to health concerns.

Addressing the matter on social platform X, Bumrah dismissed the rumors with a lighthearted response. “I know spreading false news is easy, but these reports made me laugh,” he wrote.

Bumrah also labeled the sources of these rumors as unreliable, accompanying his message with a laughing emoji.

It is worth noting that earlier reports suggested that Bumrah's back-related medical updates were not encouraging, leading to speculation that he had opted for bed rest.

Additionally, it was reported that the fast bowler would not rush his return to cricket, prioritizing a full recovery instead.
