The former cricketer expressed regret over his remarks
Legendary batsman Javed Miandad has apologised for making serious allegations against Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier this month, Miandad in a YouTube video, lashed out at Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s patron-in-chief for ruining cricket by appointing clueless officials at high-ranking positions in the board.
“All officials in the PCB do not know the ABC of the sport. I will talk to Imran Khan personally about the sad state of affairs. I will not leave anyone that is not right for our country. You have brought a person [Wasim Khan] from abroad, if he steals from us how will you even catch him? Has everyone in Pakistan passed away that you needed someone from the outside? I want the people of Pakistan to rise. You should start thinking about the people you have kept in the PCB before it’s too late," said Miandad.

However, the former cricketer has now expressed regret over his remarks while speaking on a local morning show.
"If I have offended anyone, I apologise for my words, especially to the prime minister because I was angry about Pakistan’s performance in the first Test against England,” he said. “I have full respect for the prime minister and Pakistan cricket fans all over the world."
