Karachi Kings have made two replacements for the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, bringing in Australian wicketkeeper-batter Ben McDermott and Pakistan U19 captain Saad Baig to the squad.

McDermott replaces Bangladesh’s Litton Das, who was picked in the Silver Category during the HBL PSL Players Draft 2025 but has been ruled out due to an injury sustained during practice ahead of Karachi Kings’ first match. The explosive Australian batter, known for his aggressive stroke play and versatility, brings valuable T20 experience, having featured in leagues worldwide, including the Big Bash League (BBL) and The Hundred.

Additionally, Karachi Kings have picked Pakistan U19 captain and wicketkeeper-batter Saad Baig as a partial replacement for Kane Williamson. The New Zealand star, originally picked in the Supplementary Category, will be unavailable for the Karachi leg of the tournament. Baig, who was part of Karachi Kings’ squad as an Emerging Category player last season, impressed during the ICC U19 World Cup and is regarded as one of Pakistan’s most promising young talents.

Karachi Kings squad for PSL 10:

  • Platinum: David Warner, Abbas Afridi, Adam Milne
  • Diamond: James Vince, Hasan Ali, Khushdil Shah
  • Gold: Shan Masood, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Aamer Jamal
