Karachi Kings have named Peter Moores as their head coach for the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven.

The current Nottinghamshire head coach, who has been part of the England coaching set-up twice, will replace Herschelle Gibbs, who was recruited by the Kings for their 2021 season.

"It's so exciting to be able to come and join the Karachi family," Moores said in a video message.

"I can't wait to get stuck it; it's known to be one of the best tournaments worldwide because of the strength of the local talent," he added.

Moores's son Tom has been part of the league in 2019 as he played for Multan Sultans.
