Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in contact with the Cricket West Indies (CWI) over the rescheduling of the postponed series between West Indies and Pakistan.
According to sources, PCB is already in talks with the West Indian board regarding the time window of the series. The matches are likely to be held in Karachi and Rawalpindi in June.
The Men in Maroon visited Pakistan in December last year, where they barely completed the three-match T20I series before the ODI series was called off due to the COVID outbreak within the players.
Pakistan won the T20I series 3-0, and the ODIs never took place as they were postponed keeping the players' safety in mind.
These matches will be included in the ICC CWC Super League and will be counted for the World Cup qualifiers.
It must be noted that Pakistan is currently at number 10 in the ICC Men's Super League World Cup Qualifiers standings as they have managed to win four out of their nine ODIs, in contrast to the West Indian team who is at number eight with five wins in nine matches.
