David Warner, the former Australian cricketer and current captain of Karachi Kings, has confirmed that he will participate in the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.

Reports from Australian media suggest that Warner is confident about the league's resumption and is planning to return to Pakistan to fulfill his commitment to the tournament. Fellow Australian cricketer Ben McDermott is also expected to travel back to Pakistan to take part in the remainder of the PSL.

The PSL was temporarily suspended earlier due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan, along with an incident near the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This caused several foreign players to leave Pakistan, creating uncertainty over the tournament's completion.

Initially, there were discussions about moving the remaining fixtures to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to security concerns. However, following a ceasefire agreement and instructions from Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to resume the tournament in Pakistan.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi officially confirmed the revised schedule for the remaining PSL 10 matches on Tuesday. In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Naqvi announced that the tournament would resume on May 17 and conclude with the grand final on May 25. This decision followed a series of meetings between the PCB and franchise representatives to ensure the safe and smooth completion of the league's remaining eight matches.

Warner, who was one of the most expensive picks in the PSL 10 draft, has had a mixed start to his campaign. In eight matches, he has scored just 164 runs at an average of 20.50, although he has maintained an impressive strike rate of 150.45.

Currently, Karachi Kings are second on the PSL 10 points table with 10 points, having won five of their eight matches.
