Talk about the love affair between Lahore Qalandars and record-low totals. Lahore Qalandars is certainly the only franchise that is adamant about breaking its own records of low scores.

Lahore Qalandars managed to score the third-lowest total in PSL history - not to forget three out of four lowest totals also rest in their honour. In 2017, while taking on Peshawar Zalmi, Qalandars were bowled out on 59 only at Dubai Sports City. In another episode of low totals, Rana brothers-owned franchise could only rack up 78 runs while striking up against Peshawar Zalmi yet again at Dubai Sports City.

Qalandars on Wednesday become the only team to register lowest totals in PSL in both UAE (59) and Pakistan (76).

While batting first, Sultans made the most of their lower order power hitters, Keiron Pollard and Tim David, who scored a scorching 160 runs against Lahore Qalandars' supposedly finest bowling lineup.

After dugging them deep, Sultans bowlers, particularly Sheldon Cottrell, ripped apart the top order of Lahore Qalandars and restricted them to another lowest record total on their PSL portfolio which is 76.

The win sealed the spot for Multan Sultans in the finals, while Lahore Qalandars' fate came down to the decider that will take place on Friday.
