The Chief Selector of the men's national team, Haroon Rasheed, has shown his trust and confidence towards the birdling bunch of wicketkeepers, including Muhammad Haris, Rohail Nazir, and Haseebullah Khan.

While talking to a local sports YT channel, Haroon stated that we need no looking back to previous wicketkeepers since we have now vocated new and capable individuals in the line of wicketkeeping.

"It is very pleasant for us that we have finally gotten various wicketkeepers, let alone Mohammad Haris - as we also have Haseebullah and Rohail Nazir. Both of them went for the Zimbabwe tour and delivered a decent performance. Safe to say, we have got enough competition in the wicket-keeping department, and anyone who'd excel on a given day shall and must be preferred," Haroon said.

It is worth mentioning that Muhammad Haris stamped his name, after delivering a scintillating performance against South Africa, after replacing Fakhar Zaman in the T20 Worldcup 2022. On the other hand, Haseebullah Khan and Rohail Nazir have also carved sufficiently good performances while keeping the gloves for their respective franchises in Pakistan Super League as well as for Pakistan Shaheens.
