Captain Jason Holder smashed an undefeated 202 while Shane Dowrich hit an unbeaten 116 as West Indies declared their second innings on 415-6 on Friday to set England a huge 628 to win the first Test.

Holder and Dowrich put on 295 for the seventh wicket with the captain hitting eight sixes and 23 boundaries to all parts of the Kensington Oval while wicket-keeper Dowrich made a third Test century with a six and 11 fours.

In response, England made a steady start to their second innings with a score of 56-0 at stumps on the third day.
