Usman Khan Shinwari starred as Karachi Kings comfortably defeated Multan Sultans by six wickets in match 24 of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season four in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

Chasing a modest total of 119-runs, Kings got off to shaky start as both openers Babar Azam (12) and Colin Munro (11) went back to the hut with only 36 runs on the scoreboard.

At that stage Colin Ingram and Liam Livingstone made a vital contribution of 31 runs for the third wicket before Mohammad Abbas struck twice in an over to leave Kings at 82-4. 

Ingram was cleaned up for 31 while Ifthikar Ahmed departed without opening his account. 

However, Livingstone played an unbeaten knock of 53 runs and ensured Kings victory in the game. 

Mohammad Ilyas claimed two wickets for the losing side.

Earlier the Sultans were restricted to 118 in there 20 overs, courtesy Shinwari's brilliant bowling spell. He claimed four wickets for 15 runs in his four-over spell. 

Skipper Shaoib Malik got himself going but was caught in the deep by Babar Azam. He scored 26 runs.

Meanwhile, Hammad Azam played a cameo of 29 runs to guide the team's total to 118 runs.

Umer Khan claimed three wickets for the Kings.
