Pakistan Super League season four is currently being played in UAE
Colin Ingram scored a brilliant century as Karachi Kings ended Quetta Gladiators' unbeaten run, during the ongoing Pakistan Super League in Sharjah.
Chasing a target of 187 runs, Kings found themselves in a spot of bother when they lost two wickets, including that of Babar Azam, with just four runs on the board.
At this stage Ingram came in to bat with the required rate close to ten runs per over.
He took a few deliveries to settle in but once he was set, he smacked Gladiators bowlers to all over the park. He remained unbeaten on 127 off just 59 balls with the help of 12 fours eight sixes and a strike-rate of 215.25.
This was the highest individual score in PSL ever and also the fastest hundred in the tournament's history.
Earlier Gladiators posted 186-5 in their allotted 20 overs, courtesy a good half-century from Umar Akmal and a valuable contribution from Rilee Rossouw. They scored 55 and 44 runs respectively.
For his brilliant innings, Ingram bagged the award for the player of the match.
