Retired Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir is now out of the room isolation after he was instructed to stay in a separate room of the hotel.
The 29-year-old's CT level appeared low in on-arrival Covid-19 test and he was stopped at the Colombo airport. He talked to this correspondent, confirming that he is now allowed to share Galle Gladiators' dressing room.
"Under Sri Lanka Covid-19 protocols, a passenger is sent to room isolation for 48 hours if CT level is less than 30," said Amir.
"I couldn't sleep well as we had to leave for Colombo after the T10 match in Abu Dhabi. The CT level decreased due to fatigue," he added.
Amir's CT level is now above 30 and will travel with the side to the stadium. His participation in tonight's match is uncertain and is likely to play his first LPL match on December 10.
Remember, Amir testes positive for Covid-19 in the second week of November. He participated in T10 League after being quarantined for ten days .
