Malik has not only conveyed his plans to Babar but also the Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim as well
Veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik will miss the upcoming T20I home series against West Indies and has also confirmed to skipper Babar Azam that he has no retirement plans from the shorter format.
According to sources, Malik has not only conveyed his plans to Babar but also the Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim as well.
The 39-year-old opted out of the 3rd T20I against Bangladesh and flew back to Dubai due to his son's health issues.
On the other hand, Mohammad Hafeez's position remains unclear as the veteran withdrew himself from the Bangladesh series and opted to play the Abu Dhabi T20 League being held in Dubai.
The sources also confirmed that pacer Hasan Ali will be rested for the West Indies series.
It must be noted that Pakistan will host West Indies in Karachi for three T20Is and three ODIs from December 9-22.
