Markhors defeat Dolphins by eight wickets in Champions T20 Cup

In today’s Champions T20 Cup match, Markhors defeated Dolphins by 8 wickets. 

Winning the toss, Markhors opted to field first, giving Dolphins a target of 140 runs. 

Dolphins had a poor start as their opening batsmen, Mirza Tahir Baig and Sahibzada Farhan, failed to provide a solid foundation. Both were dismissed early, scoring only 2 and 3 runs respectively. 

Salman Khan Junior was next to go, managing only 13 runs before being dismissed. Waqas Ahmed tried to stabilize the innings, scoring 55 runs off 47 balls, including 6 fours and 1 six, before being caught off Bilawal Bhatti’s delivery.

Qasim Akram also couldn’t last long, dismissed for 31 runs by Nisar Ahmed, caught LBW. Abbas Afridi was dismissed on the very first ball he faced.

Wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Ghazi contributed 4 runs, while Faheem Ashraf added 20 runs. Shayan Sheikh remained not out on 1.

For Markhors, Nisar Ahmed starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Aqif Javed claimed 2 wickets, and Bilawal Bhatti took 1 wicket.

Khawaja Nafay remained unbeaten on 66 runs from 44 balls, including 7 fours and 3 sixes, while Iftikhar Ahmed contributed with 13 runs.

Shayan Sheikh of Dolphins claimed 2 wickets as Nisar Ahmed was awarded the Player of the Match for his outstanding 4-wicket haul.
