The official website for ticket sales of the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 crashed on Tuesday due to an overwhelming response from cricket fans.

According to details, ticket sales for the Pakistan-hosted matches of the eight-team tournament went live at 2 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on Tuesday. However, the high demand led to technical issues, making it difficult for fans to book their seats for the mega event.

The unexpected surge in traffic caused the website's servers to fail, prompting the online ticketing platform to increase its server capacity to accommodate the large number of users.

On Monday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced ticket prices for the tournament, ranging from PKR 1,000 to PKR 25,000, depending on the venue, seating category, and match significance. Tickets are available in multiple categories, including General Enclosure, First Class, Premium, VIP, VVIP, and Gallery, allowing spectators to choose according to their preference.

The second semi-final, set to be played on March 5, is expected to attract a large crowd. The minimum ticket price for this match is PKR 2,500, while the highest is capped at PKR 25,000.

Similarly, the tournament opener between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi on February 19 has a minimum ticket price of PKR 2,000.

Meanwhile, ticket prices and sale dates for India's matches, scheduled to be played in Dubai on February 20, 23, and March 2, will be announced later. The final, set for March 9, will have its ticket prices decided after the first semi-final.
