Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has called out middle-order batter Umar Akmal over the comments made in the media where the Pakistan cricketer tried to drag his name through the mud.
The 32-year-old Umar had lashed out at Arthur, claiming that he was robbed off of the opportunity to represent Pakistan on the international stage for an extended period due to his bias against him.
"Mickey Arthur had personal issues with me but the team management at that time did not raise a voice for me and they have been silent till today. However, Mickey Arthur later did admit that he used harsh words on me," Umar said.
"I am among those rare cricketers of Pakistan who have been ignored at every turn," he added.
On reading the allegation on Twitter, Arthur replied with sharp words, asking Umar to hold the mirror to his face, indicating that the cricketer himself brought his own downfall.
Take a look in the mirror Umar!! https://t.co/VvZKio0WpP
