The team’s training is being severely affected due to the cold and rainy weather in Lahore. The U19 squad was able to play just one of the four scheduled practice matches. Rains have forced the youngsters to continue their training sessions indoors.

The national U19 cricket team is expected to depart for South Africa on January 10.

The U19 Cricket World Cup is scheduled to begin on January 17.
