The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announced a three-year deal with Sony Pictures Networks India to broadcast all Pakistan’s international and Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in India.

"The PCB welcomes Sony Pictures Networks India to its list of elite broadcasters who will have rights to Pakistan's bilateral series and PSL 2021-23. Through this partnership, cricket fans in South Asia will be able to follow and enjoy high-quality cricket action in Pakistan across all formats featuring some of the finest modern-day stars," said PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan in a statement.

While the aforementioned news was welcomed by majority in Pakistan, there were mixed reactions across the border due to strained political relations between the two countries.

Ehsan Mani & Wasim Khan are doing an unbelievable job. Well done PCB on administrative side of things. One thing you need to do is to remove Misbah & Waqar to improve Pakistan team's performances.

Some cricket fans in India were also looking forward to see the Men in Green in action.

And we're loving it 😄
