Left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir has named his pick for the most improved player for the ongoing edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

There have been a number of players who have showcased a different side of their game but none can match the drastic progression seen in Shan Masood's game.

The Multan Sultans opener has taken the competition by storm and remained in and around the list of most runs scored by a better in PSL 7.

Shan, who had a point to prove ahead of the squad announcement for the series against Australia, has delivered some mesmerizing performances. T20I normally is not a game for Test-cricket traditional batters but the likes of Babar Azam and Shan Masood are changing that perception.

Shan Masood's scores:

  • 26 vs. Karachi Kings
  • 83 vs. Lahore Qalandars
  • 88 vs. Quetta Gladiators
  • 43 vs. Islamabad United
  • 35 vs. Peshawar Zalmi

The left-arm pacer expressed his opinion on Twitter after Shan wrecked Peshawar Zalmi's bowling lineup as the action returned to Lahore-leg on Thursday.
