Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has identified a flaw in Shaheen Afridi's bowling action, which he believes has emerged since Afridi's injury.

In a recent appearance on a private channel, Amir explained the mistake in Afridi's bowling action while standing on stage, offering a detailed explanation of what Afridi has been doing wrong since his return from injury. He also mentioned that the issue can be corrected with some adjustments.

Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif, who was also part of the discussion, shared his perspective on Afridi’s bowling. He pointed out that Afridi tends to perform better against left-handed batters, as he gets more swing, which leads to success. However, Latif noted that Afridi is not getting the same swing against right-handed batters as he did previously.

Latif further emphasized that Afridi’s bowling action needs some tweaks, suggesting that coaches should have paid closer attention to his action to help improve his performance.
