Pakistan’s Mohammad Haris and several other foreign cricketers are caught in a financial dispute with their Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise, Durbar Rajshahi.

According to international media reports, the franchise has failed to clear payments for its overseas players and staff, leading to frustration and uncertainty among the affected individuals. Earlier, Rajshahi’s owner, Shafiq Rahman, had assured that return flight tickets for foreign players had been booked. However, due to unpaid dues, several players remain stranded at the team hotel in Dhaka.

A media report revealed that players, including Pakistan’s Mohammad Haris, Afghanistan’s Aftab Alam, West Indies’ Mark Deyal, Zimbabwe’s Ryan Burl, and West Indies’ Miguel Cummins, have yet to receive their full payments. Despite repeated attempts to contact team management, the players have not received a response.

The franchise had promised to settle the outstanding payments, but multiple local cricketers left the hotel without receiving their salaries. Even Rajshahi’s team bus driver, Mohammad Babul, has not been paid, prompting him to take matters into his own hands. In protest, the driver locked the players' kit bags and equipment inside the team bus, stating that they would only be returned once payments were cleared.
