Pakistan’s opening batter, Mohammad Huraira, who is included in the playing XI for the Test match against the West Indies in Multan, has expressed his admiration for Shoaib Malik and his desire to follow in his footsteps. Huraira stated that he hopes to make a name for himself in international cricket just as Malik has done, aiming to bring pride to his country.

Speaking about his journey, Huraira said, "Representing my country is a huge honor. I have been with the team for several series, and I’ve learned a lot from the experience."

Reflecting on his selection, Huraira shared the emotions he felt when he was informed about being picked for the team. “I don’t have the words to express what I felt when I was told I had been selected,” he said.

Huraira went on to say that his focus has always been on improving his fundamentals and technique. “My continuous effort is to work on my basics and techniques,” he added.

Having traveled with the team for several series and sharing the dressing room with experienced players, Huraira acknowledged the invaluable lessons he has gained. “I have been traveling with the team for quite some time now, and sharing the dressing room with these players has been an amazing learning experience,” he concluded.
