Pakistan cricket team captain Mohammad Rizwan has acknowledged the significant contribution of young players in the team’s victories in the last three series.
Rizwan stated that the success of the team was achieved through a strong combination of both senior and junior players. He emphasized that while form may fluctuate, it doesn’t mean that a player is not valuable to the team.
Pakistan’s recent achievements include winning the three-match ODI series against Autralia 2-1, followed by a 2-1 victory in the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. Most notably, Pakistan became the first team to whitewash South Africa in a three-match ODI series.
Commenting on the team’s success, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed that this victory will boost the players' morale and is hopeful that the same level of performance will be seen in the upcoming Champions Trophy tournament.
