Mohammad Rizwan leads the charts for most runs scored since 2021

Not only does Rizwan has the most amount of runs since the start of 2021, he also averages the highest

Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan has firmly established himself as a T20 specialist cricketer; from form to stats, everything backs the statement up.

The opening batsman has kept up his scoring rate since the start of 2021 and is the leading run-scorer since then. He is trailed by his compatriot Babar Azam and West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran.

Rizwan, however, has maintained the highest average amongst all three top-ranked candidates and has also scored the most runs.

Mohammad Rizwan — 1541 runs, 73.38 avg
Babar Azam — 1038 runs, 35.79 avg
Nicholas Pooran — 1037 runs, 30.50

Leading from the front, Rizwan has already delivered some fine performances in the ongoing T20 Asia Cup 2022. He recently scored 71 off 51 deliveries against India, which led Pakistan to a 5-wicket victory.

The flamboyant opener picked up a leg strain during the tie against the arch-rivals. The PCB has scheduled a precautionary MRI, which will be conducted today.
