Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan visited the Pak-Afghan border recently where he gave a special message and appealed for help.

The national men's Test team vice-captain was accompanied by former spinner Mushtaq Ahmed. In a message, Rizwan emphasized that the people across the border are deprived of the basic necessities of life.

He termed his visit as an eye-opening experience.

"The brave people of Afghanistan are in dire need of our help. They need food, shelter, warm clothes, medicines, etc. It was an eye-opening experience to witness the situation at Pak-Afg border with Mushtaq Ahmed. Please contribute and help the ummah of the beloved Prophet, PBUH," he tweeted.
