Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan stated that if it weren’t for the fog, the match would not have lasted more than three days.

Speaking at a press conference at the end of the first day of the Multan Test against the West Indies, Rizwan remarked, "We have not seen pitches like this before. Everyone needs to understand that cricket will become more challenging in the future."

He further added, "If there had been no fog, this match would not have gone beyond three days. Some players have been rested to prepare for the remaining cricket ahead."

Reflecting on the team's recent experiences, Rizwan commented, "In South Africa, fast bowlers put us under pressure. If we cannot take advantage of our own conditions, we need to learn and adapt."

Wicketkeeper batter also emphasized the challenges of the current pitch, saying, "You cannot set a specific target on such a pitch. We will try to score good runs based on the pitch's condition."
