“Mohammad Zahid has stepped down as the National High Performance Centre’s fast bowling coach due to personal reasons. The 44-year-old had joined the NHPC last September,” PCB said in a brief statement.

Earlier, Zahid had said that he was keen nurturing supreme pacers for Pakistan during his tenure at NHPC.
“I’m not sure how long I will be here for but I’m keen on ensuring that whenever I leave there is a proper structure in place so that people coming after us can also benefit from it,” said Zahid in an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan.
“Pakistan has always been fertile for fast-bowlers, with lots of talent, and I will try to nurture supreme pacers, who can bowl around 90 to 95 miles per hour,” he added.
