Pakistan has successfully hosted the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, marking a major achievement in the country's cricket history. The smooth execution of the event proved Pakistan’s ability to organize a top-level international tournament.

After the event concluded, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi thanked everyone who played a role in making the tournament a success.

In a message, he appreciated the efforts of the PCB team, law enforcement agencies, provincial governments, ICC officials, and all the teams that participated.

"I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated PCB team, the vigilant law enforcement agencies, the supportive provincial governments, the esteemed ICC officials, and all the phenomenal participating cricket teams that traveled to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025," Naqvi posted on X.

"Your relentless efforts made it possible for us to hold the Champions Trophy 2025 seamlessly and turn it into a remarkable success story," he added.

Naqvi called the tournament a proud moment for Pakistan and an important achievement for cricket fans around the world.

The successful hosting of the event is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s reputation as a reliable host for international cricket, increasing the chances of more major tournaments being held in the country.

Meanwhile, in the final, India defeated New Zealand by four wickets to win the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India chased a target of 252 runs, winning with six wickets and six balls to spare. Captain Rohit Sharma led the team with a match-winning half-century.

Earlier, New Zealand posted 251 runs, with Daryl Mitchell scoring a fighting fifty, but India’s bowlers restricted them from reaching a bigger total.

This victory gave India their third Champions Trophy title, following their wins in 2002 and 2013.
