Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, held a meeting with Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, in Riyadh.
The discussion focused on the promotion of cricket in Saudi Arabia and the development of its players. During the meeting, Naqvi extended an invitation to Prince Saud to visit Pakistan and watch the matches of the upcoming Champions Trophy tournament.
Naqvi also offered full cooperation in the development of cricket and the construction of stadiums in Saudi Arabia. He further suggested the possibility of a player exchange program to help nurture emerging talent in both countries, offering to send Saudi Arabian players to Pakistan for training.
"We are committed to supporting the development of cricket and the building of stadiums in Saudi Arabia," said Naqvi. "We can initiate a player exchange program, where Saudi Arabia can send their emerging players to Pakistan for training," he added.
Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, emphasized that they are focusing on player development and expressed a strong desire to work closely with Pakistan to promote cricket in the region.
Both leaders expressed their intent to strengthen the ties between the two nations' cricket boards and collaborate on the growth of the sport.
