Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has revealed the updated dates for the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10. The tournament, which was earlier suspended due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan and a security incident near the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, will now resume on May 17 and conclude with the grand final on May 25.

Naqvi shared the update on Tuesday through his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

“HBL PSL X picks up from where it left off! 6 teams, 0 fear,” Naqvi posted.

“Let the aura take over as we unite and celebrate the spirit of cricket,” he added.

“Get ready for 8 thrilling matches starting 17th May, leading up to the Grand Final on 25th May. Best of luck to all the teams,” he further wrote.

Earlier, the PCB had planned to move the remaining matches to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to growing security concerns. However, following instructions from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and considering the tense regional situation, the board decided to put the tournament on hold instead of relocating it.

Before the suspension, 27 matches had been completed. Quetta Gladiators were leading the points table with six wins, two losses, and one no-result from nine games, securing their spot in the playoffs.

Karachi Kings were in second place with ten points from five wins in eight matches. Islamabad United, the defending champions, also had ten points, but from nine games, with five wins and four losses.

Lahore Qalandars held fourth place with nine points, gained through four wins, four losses, and one no-result. Peshawar Zalmi followed in fifth with eight points, coming from four wins in eight matches.

Multan Sultans were the only team eliminated from playoff contention, having managed just one win and suffered eight losses in their nine games.
