MS Dhoni reveals his current favorite bowler

At a recent event, former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni shared his admiration for Jasprit Bumrah, calling him his current favorite bowler. Dhoni, who was seated alongside two organizing committee representatives, engaged in a lively conversation with the audience, which included many journalists.

When asked about his favorite bowler and batter, Dhoni didn't hesitate to name Bumrah as his top bowler. He explained, "Choosing a bowler is easy since we have Bumrah."

However, Dhoni found it much harder to pick a favorite batter. He acknowledged the abundance of skilled and talented batters in the current Indian team, making it difficult to single out one. Dhoni emphasized that this didn't mean the other bowlers were lacking, but rather that the batters' performances were so impressive that his opinion kept changing as different players took the crease.

"As long as Team India is doing well, I don't want to pick a specific batter. We have so many great batters that it's tough to choose just one. When I watch one, he seems the best, but then another comes along and impresses just as much," Dhoni said.

Despite this, Dhoni was clear about his choice of bowler, saying, "I've picked my favorite bowler, and it's Bumrah."

Bumrah has been a standout performer for India, proving his worth to every captain he's played under. During Dhoni's tenure, Bumrah played in 21 T20Is and 8 ODIs, highlighting his key role in the team's white-ball formats.
