Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans have announced that they will be supporting charities in Palestine, especially those focused on helping children, throughout the 10th edition of the tournament.

The announcement was made by Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan during the toss ahead of their opening game of PSL 10 against Karachi Kings.

“I have an announcement to make from Multan Sultans,” Rizwan said.

“On every six, four, or wicket by our players, we will do something to support the children in Palestine and Gaza,” he added.

Earlier, Sultans’ owner Ali Tareen also shared more details in a video message. He revealed that the franchise will donate PKR 100,000 for every six hit or wicket taken by a Sultans player during the season.

“We would like to announce that Multan Sultans have decided to support Palestinian charities during this PSL season,” Tareen stated.

“Since our players wanted to be a part of this, so we have decided whenever any of our batter hits a sixer, we will donate 100,000 rupees to Palestinian charities. Similarly our bowlers wanted to join so we will also be donating 100,000 rupees on each wicket taken to Palestinian charities, especially those who work for children,” he added.

The gesture has been widely appreciated by cricket fans and humanitarian supporters, with many praising the franchise for using their platform to raise awareness and provide aid for a meaningful cause.
