Mushtaq Ahmed praises Babar Azam's aggressive batting approach

Former Pakistan cricketer, Mushtaq Ahmed has shared his thoughts on how Babar's batting has changed in the past year.

In an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan, Mushtaq noticed that Babar has started batting with more aggression. This change has been very noticeable and impressive.

Babar's intent has definitely changed in the past year. He has shown aggression in his batting. If a person can improve so much, I think that's enough," Mushtaq said.

However, Mushtaq also talked about the importance of teamwork in cricket. He said that every player has a duty to score runs, not just Babar. He added that it's frustrating when the team only scores runs when it doesn’t really help win the game.

"Other players also have a duty to score runs; they have a role to play too. If one person gives you a score, but the rest of our players don't go on to score in the remaining 7-8 overs, then there's a problem. This has been happening for the last 3-4 years. They only score when it doesn't make a significant impact," he further added.

Even with these issues, Mushtaq believes people should not forget how much Babar has done for Pakistan. 

"If we talk about Babar, there's a reason why people respect him worldwide. He brings honor to Pakistan. I think sometimes people are very hard on him," he concluded.
