Nahid Rana sets sight on India after strong performance against Pakistan

Bangladesh’s young fast bowler Nahid Rana has quickly made a name for himself after playing a crucial role in his team's recent 2-0 Test series win against Pakistan. The 21-year-old, known for his speed and ability to generate bounce off the pitch, was a key figure in Bangladesh’s historic whitewash.

Nahid, who hails from Chapainawabganj, had already caught attention with his Test debut against Sri Lanka. However, it was his outstanding performance against Pakistan that truly showcased his talent. 

In the second Test at Rawalpindi, he took 4 wickets for 44 runs, consistently troubling Pakistan’s batters with his pace and accuracy.

Speaking about Bangladesh's upcoming series against India, Rana said, "Obviously, we are well prepared for the India series. We have started training. The more we are prepared the better we will be in execution during the matches."

He added, "India are a good team but the team that plays better cricket will win. We will see when we go there."

The two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh is set to begin on September 17 at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
