Sethi stressed that the league should have a bigger canvas and more opportunities to attract global audiences
Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi has voiced strong support for expanding the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to international markets, particularly the USA and the UK. He believes that such an expansion could financially benefit the league and increase its global presence. Sethi's remarks come at a time when sources are suggesting that the PSL might move abroad, or that some matches could be held overseas in the future.
In an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan, Sethi shared his vision for the future of the PSL, emphasizing the importance of growth and wider outreach.
"There is no problem at all with expanding the league," Sethi explained.
"I think that PSL should be increased, and if it can be played in the USA or the UK, or even have some games there, it can work out financially," he added.
He stressed that the league should have a bigger canvas and more opportunities to attract global audiences.
"We should explore such options," he concluded.
