Leicestershire Foxes cricket team have received a significant boost with the return of talented Pakistan pacer, Naseem Shah. Naseem, who had initially joined Leicestershire as a temporary replacement for Afghanistan's Naveen-ul-Haq, is coming back into the fold to fill in for the injured Wiaan Mulder.

This development comes after Naseem's brief stint in the team's first three games of the Vitality T20 Blast, during which he showcased his skills on the field.

Naseem's arrival was necessitated by Naveen-ul-Haq's delayed participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which led Leicestershire to seek additional cover for their fast-bowling department. However, with Mulder now out of action due to injury, Naseem has been given the opportunity to rejoin the Foxes and contribute to their campaign.

In the initial three games that Naseem played, he claimed two wickets at an economy rate of 8.36.

The Leicestershire Foxes have had a challenging start to their season, suffering defeats in all four of their games so far. Therefore, the return of both Naseem Shah and Naveen-ul-Haq, who is finally available after his IPL commitments, comes as a timely boost for the team.

The Foxes will be eager to turn their fortunes around and secure their first victory of the season when they face Northamptonshire on Friday, June 2.
