Naseem Shah welcomes Riley Meredith, Matthew Short to Islamabad United

Islamabad United pacer Naseem Shah has expressed his excitement over the addition of Australian players Riley Meredith and Matthew Short to the squad for the upcoming season.  

Sharing his thoughts, Naseem highlighted the impact the duo could have on the team. “I’m really excited to see two players in particular joining Islamabad United this season: Riley Meredith and Matthew Short. Riley’s pace and bounce are something special, and I think he’s going to light up the league. Pakistani fans are passionate about fast bowling, and we love express pace—Rey fits that perfectly,” he said.  

Naseem also spoke highly of matthew Short’s aggressive batting style. “As for Matthew Short, what can I say? I’m just glad we won’t have to bowl to him! He has the ability to dismantle any attack in no time. He’s as destructive as they come, and I think he’ll absolutely love playing at our home ground in Rawalpindi. It’s going to be an exciting season with these two in the squad,” he added.  

The PSL season 10 will be held in the April-May window.
