Former England captain Nasser Hussain will not be part of the commentary panel for HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven.

Nasser, who is now one of the top commentators in world cricket, might be performing his duties at the ICC Women's World Cup 2022 in New Zealand and labelled the news about him commentating in the upcoming PSL edition as not true.

But, the 53-year-old hoped to commentate in PSL at some point in the future.

"Rumours that I am commentating on PSL7 are not true as I will most likely be working on the Women's World Cup," he said in a tweet posted by Saj Sadiq.

"However I hope to commentate on the Pakistan Super League at some point in the future," he added.

Remember, there had been reports that the England great will join PSL from February 4.

It must be noted that the PSL 7 is just around the corner. The teams will start to assemble in Karachi from January 20. The tournament will start on from January 27 with defending champions Multan Sultans taking on home side Karachi Kings.
