Former England cricketer and commentator Nasser Hussain shared his excitement for the marquee match between India and Pakistan.

While talking on a YouTube channel, Hussain recounted his experience in Dubai, where he was present to witness Pakistan's electrifying performance in the 2021 World T20 against India, especially commending Shaheen Afridi's remarkable display with the ball.

"I was lucky enough to be in Dubai, and I was on commentary when Shaheen delivered that magnificent spell upfront in the World T20 in Dubai. Of course, Pakistan are playing brilliant cricket, top two ranked side at the moment - that will be some occasion. I just look forward to those games," Hussain said.

The 55-year-old emphasized the significance of the India-Pakistan match, acknowledging the immense hype surrounding this historical rivalry.

"As a neutral, you know the hype and so much going on, but to be a neutral just even the day before and the 500 news channels in India and you know all the hype, and then you turn up," he further added.
However, Hussain pointed out that despite the intense hype and media frenzy, when the cricketers take the field, it is just another game of cricket to them.

"The cricketers really just love playing against each other, and it's just a far from it, but it feels like another game of cricket to them. I like to say it's the first thing I look forward on my road to is India-Pakistan," he concluded.

Pakistan and India will lock horns on October 14th at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
