National cricketers scheduled to play in the forthcoming Champions One-Day Cup have not yet been informed about their match fees.

The tournament is set to begin in Faisalabad on Thursday and will showcase all the top Pakistan cricketers. Despite this, the players are still awaiting details about their salaries.

According to the details, players with national central contracts will receive half the match fee for domestic games compared to international matches. Previously, the One-Day match fee was 644,620 rupees, meaning players received 322,310 rupees per match.

Since no new agreement has been reached with the players, they will receive the same fees as domestic cricketers for the Champions Cup, which is taking place outside the Pakistan domestic calendar.

Domestic cricketers earn 60,000 rupees per match for the Pakistan Cup One-Day Tournament, while non-playing members receive 20,000 rupees.

Initially, it was reported that the five mentors of the Champions Cup—Waqar Younis, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Saqlain Mushtaq—will only be involved during the tournament and receive a salary of 5 million rupees.

However, the PCB has since signed a three-year contract with them, guaranteeing 5 million rupees per month. Following the Champions Cup, the mentors will continue to guide players at the academies and oversee talent scouting camps.

Thus, the mentors have eclipsed cricketers like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan in terms of monthly salary. Under their previous central contract, all three players revceived 4.5 million rupees per month.
