Pakistan all-format captain Babar Azam has confirmed that left-arm spinner Nauman Ali will replace injured Shaheen Afridi.

The left-hand pacer was injured in the first game during the field of day four. Although Shaheen's MRI showed no real cause for concern but the management did not want to take any risks.

"Shaheen is our main bowler who provides us early breakthroughs. Unfortunately, he is injured so we have included Nauman Ali looking at the conditions here," shared Babar.

"We will go with two pacers tomorrow and try to continue our match-winning performance," he added.

Babar believes that his team tries and works hard to produce record-breaking performance. "As a team, we focus on record-breaking performances. Every player takes his responsibility sincerely and try to give his hundred percent," he praised.

"As a unit, we are doing good so far. In the end, there are also some weak areas and we will try to work hard and come up more strongly," he concluded.
