New Zealand Cricket has announced the squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka at home.

Mitchell Santner will lead both the ODI and T20 squads, while Bevan Jacobs has earned his maiden call-up to the T20I team. Additionally, the T20I squad includes Zak Foulkes, Mitch Hay, and Tim Robinson, all of whom made their international debuts during the recent tour of Sri Lanka.

Key players such as Kane Williamson and Devon Conway will miss the series due to their commitments in the South Africa T20 League.

Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, and Matt Henry return to the squad for both formats after missing the recent limited-overs series in Sri Lanka.

The ODI squad also sees the inclusion of seasoned players like Tom Latham, Will O'Rourke, and Will Young, who have been rested for the T20I series. Latham will resume his role as wicketkeeper-batter, while O'Rourke and Young will provide depth to the ODI batting lineup.

Luke Ronchi will take over as head coach for this series, giving Gary Stead a well-deserved break after an extended period in charge.

The three T20 matches will be held on December 28, December 30, and January 2, while the ODI series will take place on January 5, January 8, and January 11.
