Jacob Oram, the fast bowling coach of the New Zealand cricket team, refrained from commenting on the hybrid model of the Champions Trophy, stating that he is not in a position to answer the question.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Oram expressed excitement for the upcoming training sessions, mentioning that he had just arrived after a long journey and had spent some time in Dubai as well.

"We have played a lot of cricket in these conditions before, so they are not new to us. The players are accustomed to these conditions," Oram said.

He also highlighted the importance of the tri-nation series taking place before the Champions Trophy, stating, "It's a good thing to have this series before the Champions Trophy. The great part is that we are getting an opportunity to play against Pakistan as well."

Oram further mentioned that the series will allow his team to form a solid combination.

"We are in a positive mood right now, and playing against Pakistan gives us the chance to build confidence ahead of the Champions Trophy," he said.

Having played frequently in Pakistan in the past, Oram added, "Our players know how to play here. I think the last time I was here was in 2003, so it's great to be back after such a long time."

When asked about the hybrid model of the Champions Trophy, Oram replied, "I'm happy with the hybrid model, but I’m not in a position to answer this question. We will do what we are told to do – we are playing in Pakistan against both Pakistan and Bangladesh, and in Dubai with India."

He concluded by saying, "The beauty of the Champions Trophy is that every team has an equal chance. Any team can defeat another team."
